Therapon Skin Health, parent company of Theraderm Clinical Skin Care, began its story in 1977 when CEO and Founder James Beckman, M.D. set up his private practice, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Determined to improve the quality of life for his skin graft patients, Dr. Beckman developed Beckman’s Skin Care Cream. In further developing this highly-specialized cream, Dr. Beckman found a new ingredient. This ingredient not only restored mobility to skin, but also caused wrinkles and fine lines to disappear. This discovery led to the creation of Therapon Skin Health and Theraderm Clinical Skin Care products.
